Meeting Schedule and Minutes

In accordance with NC Open Meetings Law, all Transylvania County Tourism Development Authority (TCTDA) board and committee meetings are open to the public. Immediately below is the schedule for board meetings in 2024, followed by minutes for the current year and the prior years. Further below is the 2024 committee meeting schedule.

TCTDA Board of Directors Meetings

The Transylvania Tourism Development Authority holds regular meetings on the fourth
Thursday of the month, beginning at 8:30 am, in the Multipurpose Chambers at the County
Administration Building, located at 101 S. Broad St., Brevard. The November and December
meetings are shifted to the first Thursday of the following month due to the holidays late in
those months. TCTDA Board meetings are open to the public. The 2024 meeting schedule is
as follows:

*This will be the TCTDA’s annual board retreat with plans to focus on strategic
planning and extend the meeting through early afternoon.

Committee Meetings

All TCTDA committee meetings occur in person at the TCTDA offices or adjacent meeting rooms on the second floor of the Chamber building at 175 E. Main St. in downtown Brevard, unless otherwise noted. TCTDA committee meetings are open to the public. Below is a schedule of meeting times for each committee. This schedule will be updated 48 hours in advance if any changes or additions occur.

• Transylvania Always: 2nd Monday of the month at 11:00 am. 
• Marketing: 3rd Monday of the month at 10:00 am.
• Destination Infrastructure: 4th Tuesday of the month at 9:00 am.
• Grant: Immediately following TCTDA Board of Directors meetings unless otherwise noted. (See above for the Board meeting schedule)
