Local historian Yvonne McCall Dickson moderates this living documentary produced and directed by Tammy Hopkins in association with the Cradle of Forestry Interpretive Association in 2000. Each segment spotlights a woman of Appalachia, with background information provided before the showing and a time of discussion following. This program is sponsored by NC Humanities, the state affiliation of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
