Brevard Music Center

Seeing Stars, Under the Stars.

All great musicians have to start somewhere. And it’s a fair bet that some of tomorrow’s virtuoso violinists, uncanny coloraturas and heavy hitters of the percussion persuasion may just be spending their summers on the campus of Brevard Music Center, sharing center stage with Artistic Director and BMC Alumnus Keith Lockhart (also Principal Conductor of the Boston Pops).

For more than eighty years, this legendary summer music program has trained prodigious young musicians, and paired them on stage with some of the most celebrated musicians in the world (Yo-Yo Ma, Renée Fleming, Joshua Bell . . . just to name a few) for seven glorious, ecstatic weeks of sublime music. Virtually every one of the more than 80 orchestra, chamber and opera performances – and some blues, gospel, bluegrass, jazz, and pops, too – is of the don’t-miss variety. Tickets start at only $20.
