ART IN THE PARK

Art in the Park is sponsored by the Connestee Art League of Brevard. This is their 1st fall festival. The festival is on Route 276, on the property of Brevard Elementary School, directly across the street from the Boys & Girls Club. The address is 399 Greenville Hwy, Brevard, NC 28712.

Art in the Park benefits the Transylvania Community Arts Council and other venues that support children and adults in the Brevard Community. It is one of the League’s annual fundraisers. The outstanding lineup includes two-dimensional artists such as painters, illustrators and photographers, etc. We also have three-dimensional artists such as potters, woodworkers, jewelry makers, stained glass artists and many, many more. Many of the artists are also featured in local stores and galleries.

The public is invited to come and enjoy the day, shop for original artistic creations and join in the fun.

Bring the kids, bring the grandparents, and have a day of fun. Enjoy art and nature, because so much of the art is about our beautiful surroundings here in Transylvania County. After you enjoy the fair, you can also visit local landmarks such as Pretty Place and Caesar’s Head State Park. Take a hike in DuPont State Forest or take in some of the most magnificent views in the area. We look forward to seeing all of you there!

ABOUT THE CONNESTEE ART LEAGUE

The Art League is a non-profit organization. The community’s many talented visual artists can join together, learn and add to the community at large. It is Connestee Falls’ most active resident organizations. Their events are a source of fun, excitement and talent. A visit to the Connestee Clubhouse offers an ongoing opportunity to see works by artist members in a wide range of mediums. During the year they also offer demonstrations and workshops by well-known artists.
