4th Friday Hikes with WorkAbout Coworking

Join WorkAbout Coworking every 4th Friday this summer for a social group hike, and get to know your fellow locals and visitors. Then, stick around afterwards for a post-hike beer to celebrate the start to your weekend! Bring your own water and snacks, we’ll provide the beer. All are welcome.

• CORRECTION: On Friday, June 30, we’ll be hiking the North Slope Trail near the Davidson River Campground in Pisgah National Forest. North Slope is a 4-mile loop of moderate-difficult intensity, suitable for most (if not all) casual hikers. (Previous versions of this post included our June date as June 29, which is a Thursday)

• On Friday, July 28, we’ll be hiking the Cedar Rock Loop in DuPont State Recreational Forest. This is a 4.5-mile moderate hike with gorgeous views at the summit of the surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains.

• On Friday, Aug. 25, we’ll be hiking to John Rock in Pisgah National Forest. We will be taking a 5-mile, out-and-back route to the summit of John Rock. This is one of the most iconic hikes in Pisgah with gorgeous views at the top, including one of the best views of Looking Glass Rock in the whole forest. This is a strenuous hike, but well worth it for the views from the summit.
