20th Annual Assault on the Carolinas

The Assault on the Carolinas is an annual bike event (started on April 1, 2000 with just under 50 riders). It has grown to 1,000+ riders during the last 20 years. We invite the community to welcome the riders, and friends and family who join them for the event. Many riders are from Transylvania County (and many are repeat riders!), many from North and South Carolina, Georgia, throughout the Southeast and the country. There’s a large group from Canada who join the ride each year. This year’s event is Saturday, April 6 – the ride begins and ends from downtown Brevard at 9 am. This is the sole fundraiser for Rotary Club of Pisgah Forest. We thank the riders, the volunteers and the sponsors who generously contribute to raise funds for our community and beyond. This year’s entertainment at the After Party is Fireside Collective – from the group’s bio “Quickly blazing a name for themselves with their progressive approach to American folk music, Fireside Collective delights listeners with memorable melodies and contemporary songwriting. Formed in the mountain city of Asheville North Carolina, the band plays original songs on stringed instruments, intended for a modern audience.”
