Pisgah Inn Restaurant
In our humble opinion, the views don’t get much better than this. Pisgah Inn is located at milepost 408 of the Blue Ridge Parkway, so naturally, their restaurant is surrounded by remarkable vistas of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Be sure to make a reservation in advance as these tables can go quickly! The Inn and restaurant are open seasonally, April 1 through October 31, and the restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Key Falls Inn – The Pavillion Restaurant and Corner Bar
Dine just steps away from a cascading waterfall at The Pavillion Restaurant at Key Falls Inn. Here, guests can enjoy an open-air environment and feast on a number of delicious menu items, including flatbreads, burgers, steak, and exceptional pasta. After eating, take the short drive to see Key Falls, the Inn’s namesake. This beautiful waterfall stands tall at 60 feet and cascades over several small ledges into the creek below.

Greystone Inn Restaurant

Grand Olde Station
Also located on the beautiful shores of Lake Toxaway, Grand Olde Station has been well-loved by locals and visitors alike since first opening in 2021. Not only is the outdoor dining here lovely, but the inside pays homage to the history and nature of the Lake Toxaway community. It’s almost like a mini museum. The menu features small plates, fresh salads, sandwiches, exceptional drinks, desserts, and more, but their trout entree stands out as a crowd favorite.

Los Vaqueros
Have you ever sipped on a margarita while gazing at the beauty of a waterfall? At Los Vaqueros, you’re in for anything but the everyday Tex-Mex experience. Located in Lake Toxaway, guests can dine outside while enjoying stunning views of Toxaway Falls — a towering 150-ft. waterfall that tumbles down colorful bedrock along the Toxaway River. Guests rave about the delicious and unique menu items and the friendly service.

Creekside Market and Grill
The charming, outdoorsy community of Cedar Mountain provides the perfect outdoor dining atmosphere for guests at Creekside Market and Grill. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner seven days a week — serving up a mouthwatering array of biscuits, burgers, open-face subs, southern cuisine, and comfort foods that will warm you from the inside out.

Pisgah Bakehouse
Just outside the entrance of Pisgah National Forest, Pisgah Bakehouse has quickly become a must-dine experience for travelers in Transylvania County. Open Tuesday through Saturday, they serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with a menu that features salads, wood-fired pizzas, fresh sandwiches, and more, made with local ingredients. While here, be sure to pick up a loaf of their organic, brick-oven bread, baked fresh daily.

Pisgah Tavern at The Hub
Just a few short minutes from the trails and waterfalls of Pisgah National Forest, Pisgah Tavern at The Hub is a great spot to stop in for an ice-cold pint after a day of adventure in the forest. With eight rotating taps featuring local brews and a daily schedule of food trucks, there’s no shortage of variety in this neck of the woods. Their outdoor patio has a really fun vibe, as they often have live music throughout the week. You can also pop in next door to Dolly’s Dairy Bar for a scoop of ice cream to round out your meal.

Broad St. Plaza
Nestled in the heart of Downtown Brevard, Broad St. Plaza offers a vibrant outdoor dining experience for a few of our favorite downtown restaurants, including Quixote, Territory Wine, and Wood & Vine. Quixote is known for its elevated, Mexican-inspired menu and delicious cocktails. Territory Wine, Brevard’s newest wine bar, has a fresh variety of wine and beer. Wood & Vine serves dinner Tuesday through Saturday, with a wood-fired menu that you’ve got to try.

Brevard’s eclectic and historic Lumberyard District is home to many fun stops and eateries, and one that you definitely can’t miss is 185 King Street. With tasty food, live music, and local brews from Noblebräu Brewing, this spot is a perfect storm for a good time.
