Riverside campsites, including some managed by MountainTrue, offer a chance to turn your paddle into a multi-day adventure. Whether you’re paddling or camping under the stars, this trail is a unique way to explore WNC’s stunning landscapes.

One of Pisgah National Forest’s most iconic attractions, Sliding Rock is a 60-foot natural water slide that’s as thrilling as it is refreshing. Perfect for families and adventure lovers, this beloved spot lets you glide down smooth rock into a cool mountain pool—a quintessential Brevard experience! From Memorial Day to Labor Day lifeguards are on-site, and a small fee applies.
