Rising to 3,969 feet, Looking Glass Rock is comprised of exposed Whiteside granite that was formed approximately 390 million years ago. This hike-able monolith is in Pisgah National Forest, and serves as a popular spot for rock-climbing, hiking and day-viewing. Its challenging trail and stunning views of the Blue Ridge Mountains make it a must-visit for outdoor enthusiasts.
