Upper French Broad Riverfest

This Riverfest is a family fun festival at the headwaters of the French Broad River in Champion Park and Rosman Town Hall, Rosman, N.C.  Free activities for kids and family throughout the day. Tubing rides will be provided by Headwaters Outfitters.  An Adventure games Triathlon will be conducted by Z-Z-Zip Zipline Tours.  Water critters and water quality demonstrations and exhibits will be sponsored by MountainTrue.  A live reptile exhibit, including our mascot, the Hellbender, will be presented by Trails Carolina.  Corn hole games, and more will be available for your family enjoyment!  Headwaters Outfitters will be sponsoring a 20-mile canoe relay race.  Teams must sign up for this relay before the event.  Information and registration forms are available at http://headwatersoutfitters.com/event/upper-french-broad-river-relay-race.  A horseshoe pitching contest will be open to all (register at the event).  On stage, listen to local music and talks about the river, its history, and the Cherokee heritage of the Estatoe Trail.  On the grounds, enjoy food, crafts, and exhibits from local vendors and organizations.  Come to our festival and have a great day on the river!
