Celebrate one of Transylvania County’s greatest natural treasures at the Upper French Broad Riverfest in Rosman!
Held at Champion Park along the river, this free, family-friendly festival brings residents and visitors together for a day of live local music, outdoor fun and hands-on activities celebrating the Upper French Broad River and the plants and animals that call this region home.
Spend the day exploring interactive exhibits and educational activities from local organizations, enjoy food and live music, and cool off with free tubing on the river. Bring your swimsuit and towel and plan to spend the day by the water!
Riverfest also coincides with the Hellbender 20-Miler Canoe Race, so keep an eye out for teams making their way down the Upper French Broad before celebrating at the race after party at Headwaters Outfitters.
The 2027 schedule, music lineup, participating organizations, and additional event details will be announced closer to the festival.
