The Historic Toxaway Foundation and The Grand Olde Station Restaurant present three summer Sunday Night Stories events at Golden Farm, on June 29, July 13, and July 27. Each event features a professionally-produced historical film under a sheltered viewing area, plus petting zoo and outdoor activities for kids. Meet and mingle from 4:30pm until the film begins at 5pm; then hang out in the great outdoors with friends and family until dusk. Food and drink, including beer and wine, will be available at an additional charge onsite. Tickets are just $35pp (kids 12-under are free!).
On June 29, Turn of the Century Toxaway will showcase the areas great Resort Era in the late 800s/early 1900s, especially the construction of the original dam creating our mountain lake, Lake Toxaway, as well as the magnificent Toxaway Inn along its banks, which brought in famous guests such as Henry Ford, Thomas Edison, and many others. Experience the past as if its present!
