The Historic Toxaway Foundation and The Grand Olde Station Restaurant present three summer Sunday Night Stories events at Golden Farm, on June 29, July 13, and July 27. Each event features a professionally-produced historical film under a sheltered viewing area, plus petting zoo and outdoor activities for kids. Meet and mingle from 4:30pm until the film begins at 5pm; then hang out in the great outdoors with friends and family until dusk. Food and drink, including beer and wine, will be available at an additional charge onsite. Tickets are just $35pp (kids 12-under are free!).

On July 27, THE GREYSTONE INN: A TOXAWAY LIVING LEGACY showcases the longtime history of this landmark property, including its origin story as Lucy Camp Armstrongs. Interviewees who added depth and color to our story included: former inn owners Clark Lovelace and Shannon and Geoff Ellis; members of the Heinitsh family; Rebecca Suddeth of the Transylvania Heritage Museum; architect Al Platt; and local Mike Kilpatrick, whose mothers memories of working for Lucy Armstrong helped paint a picture of this remarkable woman. Experience the past as if its present!
