Rogue Johnsen is a blues-rooted keyboardist, lapsteel guitarist and vocalist known for soulful performances and deep musical experience. A student of Charles Brown and slide guitar master Ron Thompson, Rogue was named Best Solo Artist in 2025 by the Richmond Blues Society and previously earned Best Blues Band honors from the DC Blues Society with the Rogue Johnsen Trio.
He has toured internationally with artists including W.C. Clark, Archie Bell and the Drells and Miss Lavelle White, and has shared the stage with legendary performers such as B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Albert King and Koko Taylor.
With a background in jazz studies and a Masters of Education from George Mason University, Rogue brings a unique blend of technical skill and authentic blues tradition to every performance.
