Make and Take Silk Scarf Dying with Diane Kuehn:
Have you ever admired those beautiful hand dyed silk scarves and wished you could make your own? Now you can!
This workshop is suitable for all levels (mature children 12+). During this one-day workshop, you will dye silk scarves with instant set, non-toxic Color Hue dyes. A variety of techniques will be demonstrated, and students are then encouraged to choose the techniques they want to explore.
This class is a lot of fun and very rewarding as participants will go home with two lovely, finished works as well as a great skill set to share with friends and family. These scarves also make wonderful handmade gifts!
Supply fee includes the dyes, two lightweight silk scarve blanks for you to dye, and use of instructor’s equipment and tools. Additional silk scarf blanks will be available for purchase from the instructor.
