Join Highland Books as they host a fun evening with Kimberly Brock, author of The Fabled Earth, and Katherine Scott Crawford, author of The Miniaturist’s Assistant at Territory Wine in Brevard. Grab a glass of wine, cocktail, beer, or other beverage and join us in the covered outdoor area to hear these two talented historical fiction authors talk about their most recent novels. There will be a Q&A, and their books will be available for purchase and signing.
Kimberly Brock is the award-winning author of The Lost Book of Eleanor Dare, The River Witch, and The Fabled Earth. She is the founder of Tinderbox Writers Workshop and has served as a guest lecturer for many regional and national writing workshops including at the Pat Conroy Literary Center. She lives near Atlanta with her husband and three children.
Katherine Scott Crawford is the award-winning author of Keowee Valley and The Miniaturist’s Assistant. A former backpacking guide, newspaper columnist, and recovering academic, she’ d rather be in the woods with her dog than anywhere else. She enjoys curious people, adventure, and snow— and believes historical fiction the best way to time travel. An eleventh-generation Southerner, she lives with her family in the North Carolina mountains.
