Intro To Backpacking – Navigation and Topographic Maps

D.D. Bullwinkel’s Outdoors is partnering with Adventure Grown Guides to bring you an exciting Intro To Backpacking series in our Map Room.
Whether you are new to the outdoors or would just like a refresher on current knowledge and equipment please join us.
This week we will be covering how to navigate safely in the backcountry using topographic maps. Come grab a beer and learn to wander without getting lost.
We are offering a course on a different topic every Sunday from 4:00 – 6:00 pm Starting February 18th though March 31st. The courses are free to the public but donations for the instructor are welcomed.
