This exhibition takes a historical approach to Cherokee mask making traditions of Will West Long, his son Allen Long, and his circle. The 208-year-old Allison-Deaver House will host this exhibition in the Deaver side of the house. Have you ever been to an exhibition in a historical house? It is quite the experience! Free and open to the public. Children’s activities provided.
Plan to come when exhibition curator, Anna Fariello gives two gallery walkthroughs on November 18 at 11 am and 1 pm. A Three Sisters Cherokee foodways sampling will be served from 12-1 pm.
