The little town at the heart of adventure in Transylvania County has its fair share of wonderful, and sometimes unexpected, music venues. From the bustling streets of Downtown Brevard to unique spots on the outskirts of town, there are several great spots to check out for music.

Just a short drive from Downtown Brevard, the Brevard Music Center is a unique place that lives and breathes music, calling itself “at once a place, an institute, and a festival.” Its campus is host to a summer music festival that features renowned musicians from around the world, performing music across multiple genres, including jazz, opera, classical, and so many more.

Brevard is also home to festivals with live music lineups that are worth putting on your calendar. White Squirrel Weekend happens each Memorial Day weekend, and Mountain Song rolls around each summer to bring the best in acoustic music to the Brevard community.
