Headwaters Community Hikes
Join us for an unforgettable day exploring the beautiful forests and waterfalls of Western North Carolina! Our Headwaters Community Hikes are a great way to meet fellow outdoor lovers and enjoy the magic of the mountains — no planning required.
Trip Includes:
• Guided hike to one or more scenic waterfalls
• Transportation to and from the trailhead
• Fun, friendly group atmosphere
Possible Locations:
Our hikes may take place in Pisgah National Forest, Nantahala National Forest, DuPont State Recreational Forest, or Gorges State Park, depending on conditions and group preferences.
Hike Info:
• Difficulty: Easy to Moderate
• All experience levels welcome
• Group size: Minimum 4 / Maximum 12
• A second guide joins the fun if more than 6 people register
Cost: $40.00 per person (includes transportation)
Space is limited! Please be advised that community hikes require a minimum of 4 participants to proceed. If fewer than 4 individuals register, the hike will be canceled with a 24-hour notice. Your guide will maintain regular communication regarding weather conditions and participant counts, ensuring you are informed about the likelihood of the hike taking place. Refunds will be administered if we cancel.
After booking, your guide will reach out via email with details on what to wear, what to bring, and where to meet.
