A Cradle fall favorite, this 23rd annual event is organized by Haywood Community College and sponsored by STIHL. Colleges compete in events such as crosscut sawing, pole climbing, and archery. Bring Back the Monarchs is a nationwide campaign thru the nonprofit Monarch Watch. This day includes a special presentation with conservationist Joyce Pearsall, followed by a walk with Cradle educators to our meadow sites and monarch waystation.
