This 90-minute program will begin with a presentation on beavers and their wetland-creating activities and the dynamic ecosystems that are formed. The Cradle to Grave Race takes you on lush trails through the heart of Pisgah National Forest. Your participation in this race supports a local non-profit, the Cradle of Forestry Interpretive Association.

Interpreters will be available to discuss our National Wildlife Federation certified garden, monarch waystation, heritage garden, and a program discussing our lawn-to-meadow conversion. Volunteers invited to help with planting our first round of seeds in the heritage garden.
