The Brevard Philharmonic will be joined by the Transylvania Choral Society to bring you this Holiday Tradition, Christmastime in Brevard. There will be many holiday favorites from Anderson, Tchaikovsky, Handel and more with the Transylvania Choral Society!
This regal lineup begins with a bang with Handel’s Music for the Royal Fireworks, continues with Strauss Jr.’s elegant Kaiser-Waltzer, and concludes with Beethoven’s crowning piano concerto achievement, his Emperor Concerto featuring the fantastic pianist Tanya Gabrielian.
Our season begins with a poetry–inspired concert featuring one of the most beloved violin concerti of all time, Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons! Rising superstar Lun Li makes his Brevard Philharmonic debut, while von Suppé's exciting Poet and Peasant Overture and Liszt's powerful Symphonic Poem No. 3, "Les Préludes" completes the program.
