Join the Cradle of Forestry in honoring this amazing annual phenomenon of nature.  At 8:30 come bird with naturalist Bill Sanderson (beginning and intermediate birders; wheelchair accessible). Participate in games and crafts conveying bird diversity, ecological roles and conservation. At 3:00 p.m. watch the Live Raptor program with Wild for Life.

10:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.: Guided walks along the Pink Beds Trail interpret the natural history of beavers, their wetland-creating activities and the changing habitats they create.  Programs begin in the Forest Discovery Center with a talk about beavers.  Total walking distance: 1.75 miles.   Program lasts 1.5 hours.
