ART IN THE PARK Art in the Park is sponsored by the Connestee Art League of Brevard. This is their 1st fall festival. The festival is on Route 276, on the property of Brevard Elementary School, directly across the street from the Boys & Girls Club. The address is 399 Greenville Hwy, Brevard, NC 28712. Art in the Park benefits the Transylvania Community Arts Council and other venues that support children and adults in the Brevard Community. It is one of the League’s annual fundraisers. The outstanding lineup includes two-dimensional artists such as painters, illustrators and photographers, etc. We also have three-dimensional artists such as potters, woodworkers, jewelry makers, stained glass artists and many, many more. Many of the artists are also featured in local stores and galleries. The public is invited to come and enjoy the day, shop for original artistic creations and join in the fun. Bring the kids, bring the grandparents, and have a day of fun. Enjoy art and nature, because so much of the art is about our beautiful surroundings here in Transylvania County.
