Songcatchers Series: July

 Acoustic, open air concerts in the shady, wildflower-y heart of America’s first forestry school means that music fans inclined to swoon at the perfect harmony of sight and sound might want to bring their smelling salts. The musicians participating in the Songcatchers Series honor the deep roots of Appalachian folk music by preserving its traditions while making it their own. The first of this afternoon concert series always kicks off early in July and features some of the finest folk performers in Western North Carolina.
