A Visitor’s Guide to a Holly Jolly Holiday

When other mountain towns lower the lamps for the season, Brevard shines. Our small town charm, cozy accommodations, and festive events and activities take jolly to a whole new level. Here are a few pointers to set you on your way – reindeer and jingle bells optional. While you’re here, take a minute to enjoy the spirit of the season in our newest video. Christmas Trees – Inspiration for your
holiday sparkle
The world’s only vintage Aluminum Tree and Ornament Museum, ATOM is a quirky blast from the past featuring a wacky retro display of dozens of shiny trees, vintage ornaments, and whimsical themes. You’ll even find an Elvis-themed room. The Atomic Sisterhood will be performing tree carols during the holidays this year. The museum is open from November 11 through January 20, on Thursdays through Saturdays, from noon until 4 PM.
Shopping – Make Your List (Check It Twice)
When it comes to holiday gift-giving, even Santa himself would be hard pressed to outdo our festive assortment of boutiques, outfitters, galleries, studios, and shops in storybook settings throughout Transylvania from the heart of downtown Brevard to Toxaway, and from Rosman to Cedar Mountain.
Santa’s helpers can add a little bonus cheer with the Shop Local Holiday Giveaway, through December 15th, sponsored by the Brevard Transylvania Chamber of Commerce, at a variety of participating businesses. And while you’re making your list (and checking it twice), you can also check out the festive storefronts of Brevard Shops vying for top honors in the 2023 Holiday Windows Competition.
