Nov. 9 – Jan. 17: Every Thursday through Saturday, 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
Public Lands Status
- Nantahala National Forest: Open
- Bracken Preserve: Open
- Estatoe Trail (Hike/bike path near Downtown Brevard): Open
- French Broad River Access Points: Open in Transylvania County, though many are closed downstream
- Pisgah Ranger District of the Pisgah National Forest: Open
- Cradle of Forestry: Open
- DuPont State Recreational Forest: Partially Open. Many areas will remain closed. View Closures
- Gorges State Park: Grassy Ridge Access Open. Frozen Creek Access remains closed.
- Headwaters State Forest: Open
- Blue Ridge Parkway: Open from Milepost 405.5 (Elk Pasture Gap) to Milepost 420.2 (Black Balsam) Most trails & trails crossings in this corridor are open, but campgrounds, picnic areas, and other visitor services are closed for the 2024 season. Please use extreme caution on trails and obey National Park Service signage View Closures
