Indoor Escapades

Not every day is perfect for outdoor adventures, but no worries! Brevard offers plenty of indoor fun for your whole family. For an afternoon of nostalgic fun, visit the White Squirrel Arcade, where kids can try their hand at classic games like Pac-Man, air hockey, and foosball. Or, if your kiddos like to get their hands dirty, head to a pottery studio or a gem mine for some hands-on fun. And for budding explorers, check out the educational programs and free games at the Transylvania County Public Library—it’s a gem of its own!

Park It Here!

“Good, clean fun” can be found at numerous playgrounds and local parks, like Brevard’s Silvermont, Franklin, and Silversteen Parks, Rosman’s Champion Park, and the Transylvania Activity Center. For the less traditional, Tannery and Brevard skate parks, and a ninja obstacle course at the Transylvania Activity Center should do the trick.
