Hook-up your sweetheart with an adventurous gift by booking our annual Valentine’s “Cast & Smash Burgers” event for couples. Enjoy quality guided fly fishing on our private water section on the French Broad River in Rosman, NC, relax with a walk-through lesson on fly tying (you can cast your own tied fly or bring it home as a souvenir), and replenish with a river shore lunch which features chef prepared and locally sourced smash burgers with sides, charcuterie board, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- All couples will have their own personal guide
- Waders, boots, rods, reels and flies included
- Rain or shine – there’s a picturesque covered barn to hangout in during lunch and fly tying
- Beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages will be served during lunch
- Dietary restrictions will be noted
- All experience levels welcomed including 1st timers
- Meeting location will be Headwaters Outfitters
- Fish species include: rainbow trout, brown trout & brook trout
- Your guide will send you home with a sweet couples gift as a thank you

The only things not included in price are a NC fishing license (which can be purchased online) and gratuity for guides and chef.
