Proper Pot owners Larry and Beth Canady are hosting an annual wine tasting and auction on behalf of the Friends of Transylvania Animals (FOTAS) on Saturday, February 4th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Mayor Jimmy Harris will once again auction off fine wines, gift baskets and a beautiful handmade quilt. The wall quilt, depicting colorful dachshunds, has been generously donated by the Pat Crawford of Brevard. The money raised from this event supports low cost vouchers for Transylvania County residents to spay and neuter their pets. The event is free but is limited to 100 people. Reservations can be made by calling the Proper Pot at 877-5000 or by email lcanady@comporium.net to and should be made by January 27th.
