White Squirrel Artisans Market

The White Squirrel Artisans Market returns to Deerwoode Reserve on Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 12-5PM! We had a record number of attendees last October and a record number of artisan applications for our upcoming event. Our Spring Fest will showcase over 80 artisans, 5 bands, local food trucks, face painting, & more!

Together, with Cedar Mountain Music Project & Billy McCoy/ REMAX Land of the Waterfalls, we present this FREE, FAMILY-FRIENDLY, community event. We believe wholeheartedly in SUPPORTING LOCAL… local artisans, local musicians, local small businesses, & local nonprofits.

PLEASE NOTE DEERWOODE RESERVE WILL BE CHARGING $5 FOR ON-SITE PARKING. WSAM is a free event, but do keep this fee in mind. It will assist them in maintaining their grounds during and after the event.

The Water Kickers are a Folk Rock/Americana collaboration of singer/songwriters Kelley and Brodie Porterfield. They combine intricate harmonies, heartfelt narratives, and innovative picking to carry listeners to new borderlands of the modern songscape.

Gypsy & Me is comprised of Brevard-based duo, Mike Moore & Kyzandrha Zarate. They bring us original Americana | Folk | Country music. They pride themselves in singing of life, love and their experiences while traveling the world. They’re releasing their sixth, highly anticipated album this year!

Local natives, Cody and Jonlyn Siniard, fell in love with music and THROUGH music. Their story is written in their songs and speaks to listeners from all walks of life. This guitar/fiddle and husband/wife duo is a must see!

For the past 5 years, local duo Seth & Sara have been chasing their dreams in 49 states, while performing their modern-western originals (along with covers like Tyler Childers, The Zach Bryan, Colter Wall, Radiohead, Johnny Cash, etc). With Seth praised on his mesmerizing vocals, guitar, and an ever-evolving suitcase kick, Sara lays down percussion with delicate vocals accompanying their cowboy-inspired tunes.

The Byrds and Crows is an acoustic band based out of the mountains of Western North Carolina featuring music that draws from bluegrass, folk, and old country, in addition to a little Americana.

Bring some chairs or a blanket, post up, and listen to the sounds & messages shared by these talented musicians!
