Transylvania Community Arts Council is hosting the Transylvania County Public Schools Student Art Show, April 7 – 30th. The exhibit highlights creative projects undertaken in art classrooms across the county during the school year. Visitors to the exhibit will enjoy artwork created by students in kindergarten through 12th grade. Schools represented in the exhibit include: Rosman Elementary, Brevard Elementary, Pisgah Forest Elementary, TC Henderson Elementary, Rosman Middle, Brevard Middle, Rosman High, and Brevard High. Art teachers participating and helping to organize this event include Emily Atkinson, John Brinkley, Nancy Frady, Aubrey Harris, Sean Parrish, Amy Schoenacher, and Emily Taylor.
TC Arts is located at 349 S. Caldwell St. in Brevard. Gallery hours during exhibitions are Tuesday-Friday from 11am-5pm, and Saturday from 1pm-4pm. For more information about TC Arts and to enroll in art classes, visit www.tcarts.org or call 828.884.2787.
