Silvermont Park will become the site for Halloween fun and fright on Friday and Saturday nights in October beginning October 9. The stately mansion and grounds will be transformed, as ghosts, pirates, spiders, bats, scary squirrels, and jack-o-lanterns stage a haunting. Activities for children (and “kids” of all ages) will feature a Scary Squirrel Search, walks through the Haunted Pumpkin Patch, and many games such as corn hole toss. Beware! … an enormous white squirrel will prowl the grounds while visitors explore the mysterious trails lighted by eerie pumpkins lurking along the way.
Open from 6:30pm – 10:30pm on Friday and Saturday evenings in October. Cost will be $5.00 per person, with proceeds going to benefit Silvermont and The Children’s Center. Trails are wheelchair and stroller accessible.
