The Transylvania Extension Master Gardeners are pleased to host “Preserving the Harvest”, an interesting and educational program presented by Sara Freeman.  Sara, a Nutrition Educator for the NC Cooperative Extension Service in Transylvania County, will provide an overview of various food preservation methods.  Class participants will be able to engage in hands-on learning opportunities, and will be able to take away recipes and resources for preserving a number of different foods.
