Our featured soloist, percussionist Jason DeCristofaro, will perform movements of Rosauro’s Concerto for Vibraphone and Wind Ensemble. The winner of the 2011 Yamaha/Percussive Arts Society Terry Gibbs Competition (an international scholarship competition for jazz vibraphonists), Jason has performed nationally and internationally at many Jazz festivals. The program will be about an hour and a half long. Tickets are $10 and free for children under 18, available at the door or at Highland Books on 36 W. Main Street, Brevard, NC.
