Oceanographer Dr. Robert Ballard

$10Dr. Robert Ballad is perhaps best known for his 1985 discovery of the Titanic. His multi-media presentation, Deep Sea Exploration, will provide an overview of his discoveries and the latest news from the field of oceanography. He is professor of Oceanography and Director of the Center for Ocean Exploration at the University of Rhode Island. His talk will be the spring event for the 2018 J.R. McDowell Speaker Series sponsored by the Transylvania County Library Foundation in partnership with Brevard College. Ticketing and pricing information forthcoming. General admission tickets will be $10 and will go on sale March 12th at the Library (cash or check only).
