KT Vandyke

The brain-child of a charming wordsmith who\’s hell bent on bringing his brand of Appalachian music to the masses, Driftin’ Westward brings a diverse arsenal of musical arrangements and enthusiastic performances where ever they go. Founded by award winning songwriter K.T. Vandyke in 2009, this one man tour de force, in it\’s short tenure, has taken off performing all over the Appalachian region, and the eastern United States leaving entranced and captivated audiences in their wake. Vandyke has shared the stage with such acts as Jason Isbell, Keller Williams, Rhonda Vincent and The Rage, Pokey LaFarge, Blackberry Smoke, Larry Keel, and many more. In 2012 Vandyke took home 1st place in the Richard Leigh Songwriters Competition with his song \”Huck Finn\” taking Best of show. 2014 he was named a Telluride Troubadour, a nationally renowned honor given to ten of the nations best singer/songwriters in the U.S., and also being named a top ten finalist for the Visit Music City Songwriting Competition.
