Kenny Crowley

Originally raised as a carpenter in Virginia and Ohio, singer/guitarist Kenny Crowley’s musical upbringing was steeped in good old fashioned rock n’ roll, blues, folk, Americana, and mountain music. A troubadour by nature and no stranger to travel, he eventually migrated to the west coast and became deeply influenced by the funk, soul, jazz, and gospel traditions of the San Francisco Bay area. Kenny now channels his wide range of musical influence and life experience into his music, where he crafts them into a unique style and voice all his own. With catchy grooves complimented by melodic warmth, soulful singing, and poignant lyricism, his rich sound is timeless. As an artist and performer, Crowley strives to connect with his audience on a basic human level. “The music that really inspires me is music that I can relate to, that takes me through an experience, that makes me feel something real. When I write my music, I pour own experience into it, and it truly comes from a genuine place. I want people that listen to be able to connect with that” , says Crowley.
