The Transylvania Community Arts Council has announced its summer fundraiser – a Duck Race for Kids Art Programs. The Duck Race will be held on July 4th at Brevard College near the gymnasium on Kings Creek. Ducks will launch at 6:00 pm. With every duck you sponsor, you’ll help TC Arts Council provide scholarships to art camps, pottery camps and provide more Arts In Schools Programming for K-12 in Transylvania County. Fill out your sponsor form today! Then come to the race on July 4th at 6:00 pm at King’s Creek at Brevard College and cheer on your duck to victory! You do not have to be present to win. Winners will be contacted by TC Arts. Each duck cost a donation of $5 each or $25 for six ducks and $100 for 25 ducks. The winning ducks will compete for prizes from local merchants including $250.
