Introduction to Tenkara

Come join our special guest presenter, Jason Sparks of Appalachian Tenkara, as he introduces the newly popular form of traditional Japanese fly fishing, Tenkara.  Topics covered will include history of angling style, equipment orientation, a unique perspective on Japanese flies (Kebari), and the ways and methods to use Tenkara in our local waters.  Bring your own lunch, and afterwards they’ll be a hands-on learning session. Limited to 15 participants.  Ages 14 and up.
