Hurricane Relief Fundraiser at 185 King Street

Hurricane relief fundraiser will include: LIVE MUSIC, SILENT ART AUCTION AND RAFFLE.

As most of you already know, Mike Green and I have a deep rooted connection to Water Island, USVI and all of the beautiful people that live there. These folks just endured TWO Catatory 5 hurricanes, both within 2 weeks of each other. The damage to the island and personal property was catasrorphic. Everyone on Water Island lost something, some lost everything. We are having this event to raise funds to: purchace supplies (building materials and other essentials) that will be loaded onto a shipping container and shipped down and also to send funds directly in order for the residents on island to be able to purchase groceries and other essentials. We are hoping to raise enough to also to assist in the restoration of the solar power and rebuilding of 4 Elements. It is estimated that grid power will not be restored on Water Island for 6-12 months.

It is a magical place that hosts a variety of educational and wellness programs including teaching children from neighboring islands proper nutrition values through hands on cooking and baking classes. They maintain a community garden and also have numerous art classes. 4 Elements provides so much for the community that we have to repair the damages as soon as possible so it can continue to enrich the lives of so many.
