Dennis Berndt Acoustic Reggae

Dennis Berndt has been a local reggae mainstay for the past ten years in the southeast region starting the band CHALWA, and Bruckshot as well as supporting reggae artist Ras Alan and the Lions. Dennis has toured the southeast coast and Jamaica gathering inspiration along the way to fuel his creative writing process. A talented songwriter and performer Dennis plays a blend of old school meets new school and original roots reggae. Having recorded two full-length albums with CHALWA, Dennis has recently gone into the studio to work on solo project with the support ofsome friends. Fans can expect something unique with Dennis’ solo live performances including rare and new songs providing the atmosphere of a shady Jamaican shore-line…or a Blue Ridge mountain peak!
