We are a community of artists in the beautiful, rolling hills of Leicester, NC surrounded by the scenic mountains that have inspired a long tradition of artists to call our community home.
We host our annual Come to Leicester Studio Tour in August to showcase our local talent and to continue to build awareness of our vibrant arts community. We have 29 participating artists for the 2019 tour who are creating and selling their art, and those who will be on this year’s tour are highlighted on our artists’ page.
During the month of July, the Leicester Library will be displaying pieces from several of the artists on the tour. We invite you to visit the library, meet the friendly staff, get a preview of things on the tour, and, while you are there, grab a new book to read.
Join us for the 14th Annual Come to Leicester Studio Tour! Artists will be selling and showing their work in their studios, at the local vineyard, and at our Community Center. We invite you to Come to Leicester, enjoy our scenic countryside, meet our artists, learn about their work, and be inspired. August 17-18 from 10am -6pm.
