Celebrate National Get Outdoors Day at the Cradle of Forestry
Saturday June 12th 10am to 4pm
Free Admission for everyone!
The Cradle of Forestry in America is celebrating National Get Outdoors Day by offering FREE Admission to everyone! Our three miles of paved trails offer a great introduction to the forest for families and those new to the outdoors. There will be Leave No Trace (LNT) Stations set up along the trail. Children and adults can follow a Leave No Trace Passport, learning ways to protect forests while having fun outdoors. Visit all stations to receive a special FIND Outdoors + LNT Ranger button! Also come explore creatures that call our freshwater pond home with the Pisgah River Rangers!
