Carolina Hike Series: Bold Rock to Big Rock w/ Pisgah Field School

DuPont State Forest is one of the most biologically diverse areas in NC, and you’re going to get the chance to explore what everyone’s talking about!  We’ll meet up at Bold Rock Hard Cider in Mills River, NC, to load up the van and travel to DuPont, where we’ll pick up the Big Rock Trail for a hike you’ll never forget.  Stunning vistas, clear creeks and rivers, rhododendrons and discussion on the unique qualities of the area are all a part of this great day on the trail.  We may even have time to visit one of DuPont’s stunning waterfalls and The Pisgah Tavern.  We’ll conclude back at Bold Rock, where you’ll get a chance to sample their incredible gluten-free hard ciders.  The ending to a perfect day in the NC mountains!  Cost is $65 per person, which includes transportation (up to 14), cider tasting and one pint at The Pisgah Tavern.
