The Brevard Philharmonic presents a concert to celebrate the 250th anniversary of Ludwig van Beethoven, and features a sensational double bass soloist.
“Orchestras around the world are performing Beethoven’s works during 2020, and the Brevard Philharmonic pays tribute to the great composer with a performance of his Overture to Fidelio, and his Symphony No. 8. Also on the program, world-class double bass soloist Xavier Foley will dazzle our audiences with a performance of Giovanni Bottesini’s Concerto No. 2 in B Minor. It will make for a truly spectacular afternoon!”
Program will include:
Beethoven: Overture to Fidelio
Bottesini: Double Bass Concerto No. 2
Beethoven: Symphony No. 8
