Brevard Philharmonic presents An Afternoon at the Opera

The opening performance of Brevard Philharmonic’s 2019-2020 season on September 29th will present two world-class voices in An Afternoon at the Opera. Soprano Susannah Biller has been praised for her “incandescent, exquisitely supple soprano” (Dallas Morning News) and her “light, sweet lyric voice and coloratura agility” (Chicago Tribune). American tenor John Bellemer has gained a reputation for his strong portrayals in a very wide repertoire. Possessed of a voice the New York Times calls “clarion-toned”, he continues to appear in leading roles at opera houses across North America and Europe. The afternoon with Brevard Philharmonic will feature arias and overtures from some of the most beautiful operas ever written.
