Brevard Music Center’s Trillium Quartet at The Haen Gallery in Brevard

Formed at the beginning of the 2015 season, the Trillium Quartet is made up of students from various parts of the United States. Justin Rollefson, soprano saxophone, recently earned his M.M. in saxophone performance from Arizona State University and is pursuing his D.M.A. in performance. Alex Pantazi, alto sax, is currently attending Illinois State University where he will earn a B.M. in music education. Tenor saxophone Eric Rierson is a student at the University of Iowa where he will earn a B.M in saxophone performance. Tyler Young, baritone saxophone, is currently attending Florida State University where he is studying for a degree in performance.

The quartet will perform works by Dvorak, Weiser, and Maslanka as well as a new work by Chandler.

While at BMC, all four members of the quartet study and are coached under the direction of Joseph Lulloff, Professor of Saxophone and Chair of the Woodwinds Area at Michigan State
University.

The performance is free and open to the public.
