Brevard Community Band Concert

The Brevard Community Band conducted by Mr. Jamie Hafner will present a concert at 3 PM, August 12, 2018 in the Porter Center on the campus of Brevard College in Brevard, NC. Mr. Neal Brentsen, a member of the trumpet section of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and a faculty member at the Brevard Music Center will be the guest soloist. Mr. Brentsen will perform Napoli Variations and La Virgen de la Macarena with the band. Music by Bach, Benson, Holst, McBeth, Reed, and Sousa will also be on the program. Tickets are $10.00 for adults and may be purchased from any band member or at the door on the afternoon of the performance; students 18 and under are admitted free of charge.
