Famed cultural historian Joseph Horowitz hosts this multimedia program exploring the road not taken in American Classical music. The important voices of Arthur Farwell, Florence Price, and William Dawson take center stage in music for solo piano, voice, and string quartet, featuring the legendary tenor George Shirley in a rare live performance.
